Arlette Seib

Arlette is a modern day shepherd, raising sheep on the prairie and using the wool from her flock to create pieces of fibre artwork.

Living and breathing sheep and dogs provides a breadth of experience with the animals and the prairie land which are the subjects in her work. Doing the artwork is one of the ways she stays grounded and appreciative of the intuitive and natural link between land, animal and humanity.

Arlette takes a lot of photographs to use as reference for the artwork. Her artwork and photographs can be found at her website woolstoneprairie.com as well Facebook and Instagram.

Visit Arlette and see this unique art at the Anglican Parish Hall located at 310 Main St., Watrous.
