Daryl enjoys turning garbage into paintings, prints, sculpture, constructions and fused plastic, but knows just turning garbage into art won’t rescue the earth from the greedy, evil forces trying to destroy it. Daryl also writes screenplays, novels, and songs. He makes films and records original music.
Daryl’s long and winding road has run through universities, extension courses, diplomas, certicates, workshops, short courses, project funding awards, one-man shows, group shows, film festivals and memberships in art and artisan markets, independent groups, and artist-run collectives.
His work is found in collections in Canada, South America and Asia.
He has tried his hand at gallery management, furniture upcycle businesses, sign painting, music lesson studio management, live music production, music performance while leading and often losing minor fights for justice.
He is currently seeking sincere and dedicated writing and action collaborators to join the fight to Save Mother Earth.
